Broncos head coach Vic Fangio confirmed that linebacker Justin Strnad is out for the season after undergoing wrist surgery.
The rookie, fifth-round pick out of Wake Forest dislocated his wrist and had other complications according to Fangio. The Broncos were planning on Strnad contributing this season, most likely focusing on covering opposing tight ends.
Due to the loss of Strnad the Broncos moved Justin Hollins to inside linebacker during Monday’s practice. Denver is already getting thin at the linebacker position with Todd Davis battling a calf injury and not practicing.
